The Professional Master's programme "Management of communication in the leisure and entertainment industry" is licensed. After the successful graduation the Master receives the diploma which is recognized on the state and international level.
The License № 04030-49 has been issued by the Ministry of Education and Science and is valid until November 17, 2014.

The place of implementation of the study programme. The study programme is implemented in Riga and Daugavpils.
The study languages: Latvian and Russian, the lectures are also delivered in English. The lectures are conducted by the teachers of BIA as well as invited professors.

The professional Master's study programme ensures high qualification level of the graduates who can operate successfully in the recreation and entertainment industry in Latvia, the EU and CIS countries.
The Master's degree entitles the graduate to conduct educational and scientific activities and to continue the studies with the doctorate programmes. Besides that the Master's degree entitles the graduate to occupy the senior positions in the tourism industry, hotel business, recreation and entertainment industry.
The content and peculiarities of the study programme.
The purpose of the programme is to prepare the highly qualified and competitive professionals for the recreation and entertainment industry, who have the theoretical knowledge and skills conforming to the modern international requirements, are able to creatively solve tasks, to work in the international teams and ensure effective management of the enterprises and organizations, to participate in the projects both in Latvia and abroad.
The study programme contains the humanitarian and the management discipline blocks; attention is paid to the psychology and pedagogy subjects, the ability to study the disciplines of free choice in accordance with the professional interests of the undergraduates.
Much attention is paid to the creative training of the specialists.
An important role in the preparation of the undergraduates is played by the practices: creative, scientific, educational and professional.

The professional and scientific connections with the enterprises and institutions from different countries, as well as participation in the international conferences, will allow the specialists to get the necessary training: to understand the modern markets and consumers, to work with the people of different cultures, to introduce the creative component in all spheres of activities, to respond quickly to the changes in the international markets of recreation and entertainment.
