MSCA4Ukraine: Upcoming call for proposals in September

The MSCA4Ukraine call for proposals, funded by the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Action Program and aimed at supporting displaced researchers from Ukraine, will be announced in September.

About MSCA4Ukraine:

MSCA4Ukraine will allow researchers from Ukraine to continue their work in academic and non-academic organizations in the EU member states and associated countries of Horizon Europe while maintaining links with the research and innovation communities in Ukraine.

The scheme can also:

  • facilitate the reintegration of researchers in Ukraine, subject to conditions for safe return, to prevent a permanent brain drain
  • contribute to strengthening the Ukrainian university and research sector, its cooperation and exchange with the international research community

For information on the criteria and application requirements:

  • In August 2022, the program consortium will publish additional information about advisory services for researchers and potential host institutions;
  • a call for applications will be published in September 2022 with details on application requirements, criteria, evaluation, and selection.

A brief document published on the European Association of Universities website provides background information to begin preparing an application (https://www.eua.eu/downloads/news/20220714_msca%20ukraine%20pre-announcement%20-%20%20preliminary%20information%20for%20applicants%20final.pdf).
