DISCUSSION ABOUT STUDENTS’ SELF-DISCIPLINE

Useful discussion “Problems of Self-Discipline in Distance Learning” was organized and conducted on May 27 on the Zoom platform by the head of the BIA Psychological Counseling Center, Asst. Prof. Vera Krevina and the program director of the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, professor Marina Gunare. Students and lecturers of the Baltic International Academy participated in it in the online format.

For the objectivity in the assessment of theses and opinions, certified psychologists Elena Pankova and Jolanta Leitlande were invited as experts. The discussion was open and active.  Students Valeria Kozlenkova, Dmitry Sychov, and Victoria Evlampia were especially active during the discussion. The points of view were very different, but most of the participants agreed that in conditions of distance learning, effectiveness of the education mostly depends on the student’s self-discipline.
