FRESHER DAYS held at the beginning of a new academic year is a good tradition at Baltic International Academy. A special program of events is developed for the new students to highlight the distinctive features and opportunities at BMA, to introduce them to the traditions of student life.
Also this year, in the first days of their studies, new students were invited to meetings with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Professor Zhanna Tsaurkubule, the Head of the Admissions Committee Marina Likhushina, directors of study programs, leading lecturers.
Definitely, the new students had to visit the BMA Central Academic Library. Natalia Gratkovskaya, Director of the Library, and the Library staff introduced the freshmen to the book collection and explained the rules for the use of the library materials in the studies.
The computer classes of the Academy were of particular interest for the students. True, the first test awaited them here. It was a testing in applied computer science they had to take. The results of the test were evaluated by the top IT experts of the Academy: Maxim Belostotsky and Dmitry Alyonov; undoubtedly, the students can learn a lot from them.
Now, the freshmen orientation lectures have started in the subjects to be studied in the first semester.
