Following a good tradition, the BiArt student gallery of the Baltic International Academy under the guidance of curator Valentin Danilenko annually organizes charity exhibitions of works by Latvian artists in hospitals and boarding houses. These paintings are usually donated to these institutions.
This autumn it was decided to organize a similar charity event at the Latvian Cancer Center. 17 artists responded to the call of the gallery owners – Irina Trumpele, Yuri Zuev, Zhanna Verdinya, Yulia Shved and others, who decided to donate three dozen art canvases to the center.
Among them is the work of Valentin Danilenko himself, a member of the Union of Artists of Latvia. He was instructed to deliver the paintings to the Latvian Cancer Center. Accepting the pictures, the representative of the center Armand Silins noted that they will have a beneficial effect on the mood of patients.
