Latvian experience became the basic of doctoral dissertation

The Baltic Academy successfully defended doctoral dissertation in economics. Scientific supervisor of the Doctoral Thesis was professor of BIA Inna Stecenko, promotional work was prepared by the BIA Ph D student from Latvia, Alexanders Sakovskis, who works as the development director of the joint-stock company “Rīgas namu apsaimniekotājs”.

The topic of the thesis “Direction of implementation of state housing policy in Latvia” was received with interest at the meetings of the BIA Promotional Council.

The official reviewers – Professor of the Riga Stradins University Tatiana Muravskaya, Professor of the Rezekne Academy of Technology, Iveta Mietule, Associate Professor of Sting Academy from the Czech Republic Marianna Drazhanova, positively assessed the doctoral dissertation of Alexanders Sakovskis, its relevance and innovative nature.
The Czech reviewer was present using the video platform (BigBlueButton).

Finally as the results of the defense of the doctoral dissertation, the chairwomen of the Promotional Council, prof. Inna Stecenko noted that the conclusions and recommendations of the Doctoral thesis are relevant not only for Latvia, but also for other countries of the European Union. She highly appreciated the creative approach of Alexanders Sakovskis to the development of the dissertation and summed up that he deserved scientific PhD degree in Economic science.
