At the beginning of the new academic year, our academy hosted a presentation of a new textbook “Commodity Science and Expertise of Food Products in the Hospitality Industry”, published in Moscow and addressed to students studying tourism and management. It was developed by scientists and teachers of the Baltic International Academy and the Moscow Financial University.
A significant contribution to the creation of this textbook was made by the professor of BIA, head of the educational direction “Hotel and restaurant business, organization of tourism and recreation” Marina Gunare. She is the author of the Gastronomic Tourism section and one of the textbook editors.
She introduced her colleagues to the structure and features of the new textbook and answered their questions. Associate professors Ekaterina Voznyuk, Diana Zagulova, lecturers Ksenia Doronina and Guzel Ivanova took part in the discussion. They positively assessed the new textbook and noted that it would be a good textbook for students.
