Our academy successfully completed advanced training courses for academic staff of BIA and the College of Accounting and Finance. This is a joint educational and technical project of the Academy and Daugavpils State University. Courses lasted from March 20, 60 hours and were devoted to the study of innovation in higher education.
Classes were held in webinar format. They with the help of a teleconference from Daugavpils were conducted by leading experts of university. The teleconference allowed students to not only hear, but also to see teachers, ask them questions, and exchange remarks. This could be done by BIA teachers using their personal computers. The results of useful and informative courses were summed up at a meeting of academic staff by the board members of BIA Valery Nikiforov and Stanislav Buka. They positively evaluated the active participation of BIA teachers in improving their skills and thanked the specialists of the Daugavpils University for their help in conducting the courses.
As emphasizing, presenting the certificates, the course coordinator Valery Nikiforov, the knowledge gained will undoubtedly find application in the educational process and will be taken into account when assessing the professional training of teaching staff at BIA.
