In early October, the international art exhibition “The Art of Silhouette” was opened in the capital of southern Kazakhstan, Almaty. It involves artists from Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Czech Republic, Germany and other countries.

Latvia is represented by Maria Abdueva and the curator of the BiArt student gallery of our Baltic International Academy, a member of the Union of Latvian Artists, Valentin Danilenko. The exhibition presents two works by V. Danilenko – “Flower” and “From Adam and Eve”, which were previously exhibited in our student gallery.

Prior to that, Valentin Danilenko’s works were exhibited in Tallinn, Lvov, St. Petersburg, Donskoy, Novosibirsk, Karaganda and other foreign cities.

And now Valentin Danilenko is preparing an international art exhibition “Latvia – Kazakhstan” for the opening in BIA. Its opening is scheduled for October 13 at 14.00 in the building at 1/4 Lomonosov Street in room 207.
