A representative delegation of teachers from the College from Panevezys, which has recently been renamed Panevezys University of Applied Sciences, has visited our academy within the framework of the program of international mobility of students and teachers “ERASMUS”. The guests got acquainted with the BMA training base, with training programs, with the peculiarities of the educational process in a pandemic.
During the visit, detailed negotiations were held on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between educational institutions. From the Latvian side, they were attended by the Chairman of the Senate of the Baltic International Academy Stanislav Buka, Acting Director of the Accounting and Finance College Inesse Vingre-Ruskule, BIA Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Inta Buka, coordinator of the international ERASMUS program Victoria Petlyak.
The Lithuanian side was represented by the Director of the Panevezys College Gediminas Sargunas, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Jurgita Lieponiene, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Rasa Glinskiene, Coordinator of International Relations Jovita Kaziukonyte.
During the negotiations, it was decided to expand bilateral mutually beneficial ties, to intensify the exchange of students and teachers under the “ERASMUS” program and to consolidate the agreements reached with appropriate agreements.
