On May 13-14, the Baltic International Academy held the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Time of challenges and opportunities: challenges, solutions, perspectives”. The conference was organised by the Baltic International Academy, STING Academy (Czech Republic), V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine), The Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities (Poland), The College of Accounting and Finance (Latvia), Šiauliai State College (Lithuania) and the International University of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyzstan).
When opening the conference, doctor of economics, associate professor, chairman of the BIA Senate Stanislav Buka noted that reports of scientists from different countries reflect a wide range of opinions on the most topical issues of our time. And the complex of scientific potentials will help accelerate their solution.
At the plenary session, which was chaired by BIA vice-rector for scientific work, associate professor Vladislav Volkov, the speakers were: doctor of economics, docent of the Baltic International Academy Georgy Fainshtein, professor of Odessa I. Mechnikov National University Valentina Podshyvalkina, BIA doctoral candidate Anatoliy Lytvynenko, lecturer of the Dnipro Technical University Tetiana Vysotska, head of the scientific and educational centre of the company “Scientific Publications” Yelizaveta Batayeva.
Reports of about 100 scientists were presented in person and online in the following sections: Modern social psychology: theory and practice; Topical problems of legal science; Economics, management and finance; Social work; Topical issues of linguistics, didactics and translation; Tourism and hotel business; The European Union and European values.
They will be published in the collection of conference materials in electronic form. It will be available on the BIA website under the heading “scientific work”.
