On April 22, from 9:30 to 11:35 on Earth Day, a high level event Solve Climate by 2030 will be held as part of the Global Week of Narxoz University with simultaneous translation in three languages.
Speakers of the event will include: Deputy Head of the Department of Climate Policy and Green Technology, Ministry of Ecology Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Green Economy Council representative under the President of Kazakhstan, Director of the Sustainable Kazakhstan Research Institute at Narxoz University, among other distinguished speakers.

The event aims to promote dialogue between academic groups, students, society and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on national preparations for the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-26). The event is held within the framework of the global initiative “Solve Climate by 2030” and the European Union climate campaign #EU4GreenKZ. “Solve Climate by 2030” includes more than a hundred events in 50 countries to discuss important issues of the future, such as an ambitious “green” recovery based on international, national and local events, can put us on the path to fight climate change by 2030. The #EU4GreenKZ campaign aims to strengthen EU and member states ‘ cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of environment and green economy, as well as to support the country in addressing climate change.
