The call for applications for the EU TalentON competition for early career researchers is now open.
This year’s pilot project will take place in Leiden, the European Science Capital 2022.
The EU Talenton, sponsored by the Commission, will challenge young, talented researchers to find solutions to the most pressing global problems. The four-day event will bring together about 100 budding researchers between the ages of 21 and 35 from across the EU. It includes an extensive program developed in collaboration with academia, business and industry.
Talented young researchers, divided into small teams, will be given the necessary tools (such as workshops, company visits, lectures, workshops, individual guidance and cultural experiences) to create innovative and marketable solutions to challenges based on this year’s EU missions. At the end of the event, each team will present their solution to a professional jury and the public. Winners will receive sponsored prizes from EU, industry and mentors.
Early-career researchers can apply for the EU TalentON program until the end of June 2022.
