From June 27 to July 1, 2022, the programme “Translation and Interpreting” hosts colleagues from the University of Silesia (Poland)

University staff and lecturers who came under the ERASMUS programme are interested in strengthening international contacts with partner organisations in the field of academic management – primarily in discussing the organisation of the work of academic staff in the field of translation and teaching foreign languages. Ewa Wilisowska, Iwona Boryszko, Lukasz Geborek (administrative staff) and Anna Paszkowska (lecturer) primarily represent the faculty of philology, a structure the field of which is in many ways close to our programme. Colleagues are also interested in getting acquainted with the work of the Foreign Language Centre and ECL Certification (J. Rastorgujeva). Language training for translators, the state and prospects for the development of translation studies, teaching in force majeure circumstances of the pandemic and other issues – this is the programme of the round table scheduled for June 28.
