Psychological Counselling Centre of the Baltic International Academy
In December 2019, the Psychological Counselling Centre was established at Baltic International Academy within the Professional Bachelor's degree programme in Psychology.
The goal of the Centre:
To provide psychological assistance to clients who have emotional and social difficulties related to various daily life situations, work, university studies, physical health, relationships with other people, which people encounter both as individuals, as family members, and as representatives of various groups and organisations.
Objectives of the Centre:
- To provide psychological assistance and support in personal, relationship, work, career or educational matters;
- To help overcome situations that require new resources through personal development (situations such as losses, personality crises, complicated relationships, addiction problems, adaptation difficulties);
- To broaden the knowledge in the field of psychology by organising seminars and workshops;
- To cooperate within the limits of their competence with specialists of their educational institution who work in other fields.
Target audiences of the Centre:
- Students, employees and everybody who needs psychological support;
- Groups of students and organisations.
