International Research-to-Practice Conference “Society Transformations in Social and Human Sciences”

On December 13-14, the XIII International Research-to-Practice Conference “Society Transformations in Social and Human Sciences” was held at our Baltic International Academy.

It was organised by: Baltijas Starptautiskā akadēmija (Latvija), Daugavpils Universitāte (Latvija), Grāmatvedības un Finanšu koledža (Latvija), V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine), Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (Ukraine), Research Centre of Industrial Problems of Development of NAS of UkrainePanevezys University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (Ukraine), Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities (Poland), University of Oradea (Romania), Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine), Lithuanian Sports University (Lithuania).

More than one hundred scientific reports and messages were prepared for discussion at the conference. They were presented in person and online by scientists from nine countries.

As Vice-Rector for Science of the Baltic International Academy, Associate Professor Vladislav Volkov noted when opening the conference, the reports and messages of scientists from different countries reflect a wide range of opinions on the most topical issues of our time.

At the plenary session of the conference, informative reports were made by Associate Professor Michel Verlaine (ICN Business School, Nancy, France), Professor Inga Ryumkina (Esil University, Astana, Kazakhstan), Professor Olesya Lynovytska (Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine), Professor Kryshal Halyna (Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Kyiv), Professor Yelena Popova (Transport and Telecommunication Institute, Riga), Phd, Deputy Director Marlena Drygiel-Bielinska (Institute of Security Studies, University of Siedlce, Poland), Assistant Professor Nadežda Pazuhina and Assistant Professor Mihail Kopejkin (Baltic International Academy, Latvia).

Reports and messages were also presented and discussed in the sections: Contemporary Management, Business and Innovation; Finance and Economics for Sustainable Future; Legal Science; Geopolitical and Humanitarian Aspects of European Security; Topical Issues of Psychology: Theory and Practice; Multidimensional Translation: From Science to Arts; Communication Technologies and Tourism; Arts and Design.

The conference materials will be published in the Collection of scientific articles of the Academy in electronic form on the BIA website in the section “Science”.
