January debut of Vera VArt

The first solo exhibition of works by the artist Vera VArt from Riga, which was organised by the BIArt art gallery, aroused great interest among students, lecturers and guests of our Baltic International Academy.

It is called “CITIES” and it presents twenty paintings, which, with the help of textured (volumetric) painting, depict views of Riga, London, Paris, Rome, Venice, where the artist has been and where her works are also exhibited in private collections. And in Italy, she is one of the foreign members of the artists’ club “Club Bluoltremare international art”. The exposition of cities is well complemented by a number of female portraits.

When opening the exhibition, the curator of the BIArt student gallery, member of the Union of Artists of Latvia Valentin Danilenko noted that it has become a good tradition of the Baltic International Academy to discover new names in the world of fine arts. And Vera VArt with her original graphic works will undoubtedly fit into this list. He congratulated her on her successful debut in the art gallery and presented her with a certificate for her first solo exhibition.

In her response, Vera VArt cordially thanked the gallery and the Baltic International Academy for the attention to her creative work.

The exhibition is located in the educational building of the BIA at 4 Valerijas Seiles Street and is available during the working hours of the academy until the end of February.
