Four years of intense study, plein airs and internships are left behind and the long-awaited moment of receiving the diplomas has come. And it will remain in the memory of the graduates of the School of Design of our Baltic International Academy Katrina Andreyeva, Elizabete Vilumane, Kirill Golubev, Anastasia Nosova, Robert Umbrashko for a long time. They will remember for a long time the warm, heartfelt words of the Vice-Rector for Science of the BIA Vladislav Volkov, the head of the study field “Art” Mikhail Kopeikin, Professor Zhanna Tsaurkubule, who came to their graduation ceremony to congratulate them on the successful completion of their studies and to present them with diplomas of the Baltic International Academy.
When congratulating the new graduate designers, Professor Vladislav Volkov noted that diplomas are only the first step in a professional career. In the future, a lot will depend on how creatively graduates use the knowledge they received at the academy.
The importance of a creative approach to the profession of a designer was also emphasised by the head of the School of Design Mikhail Kopeikin when presenting diplomas. He reminded the bachelors that the role of design is growing year after year, which means that the requirements for designers are also growing. Therefore, graduates should not rest on their laurels, but constantly replenish their professional baggage with new knowledge.
At the same graduation ceremony, Professor Zhanna Tsaurkubule cordially congratulated foreign graduates of the programme “Enterprise management in the leisure and entertainment industry” Helen Arrah Enow Epse Ayimily from Cameroon and Feruza Zabirova from Uzbekistan and presented them with the diplomas of the BIA.
In their speeches, the designers thanked the Baltic International Academy and its lecturers, who opened such an interesting and in-demand profession for them.
