List of the documents to be submitted to receive a residence permit in the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia or in the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (OCMA)

1. Passport
2. Copy of study agreement with BSA (original must be presented)
3. Documents certifying the expected place of residence (Rental agreement)
4. The reference on the absence of criminal records from the country of residence (at primary submission of documents). Period of validity of the reference - 6 months from the date of issue.
5. The documents confirming the existence of the required financial support in the Republic of Latvia (8500 EUR). Period of validity of the reference - 3 months from the date of issue.
6. Copy of documents of students’ previous education (originals must be presented)
7. Filled application for Requiring a Residence Permit (.pdf)
8. A photography (3x4)
9. Invitation number (sent by BSA)

Please be informed, that as of April 1, 2019, public documents issued in Ukraine, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Moldova, Kyrgyz Republic must be legalized or certified with Apostille in a competent foreign authority.
