astashenkoManagement of communication in the leisure and entertainment industry is extension of my bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality management also completed at Baltic International Academy. The program attracted me with successful previous experience: I liked the informal educational culture, professionalism and diversity of teaching stuff, a lot of opportunities and additions during the study process, like seminars, organization and participation in festive events like faculty day, international conferences and etc, opportunities to complete the internship in international HoReCa and tourism organizations.

In Masters Study Programme all the events and opportunities remained. Moreover, a group of students turned out very multicultural and it has only made the process of studying subjects like Cultural practices, Management of international projects, teams more cognitive and captivating. At first I thought it will be very hard to study in English (after bachelor’s degree in Russian), but all professors are open to explain you twice or translate if you don’t understand something.

To make feedback short, I am satisfied I have chosen BIA for my higher education travel and would like to thank Marina Gunare, the programs director, for these opportunities!
