BIA has published the textbook “Constructive Mediation Model” by mediator Viktorija Portere. The textbook is dedicated to the Constructive Mediation Model (CMM), which is based on the philosophy and scientific direction – constructivism and has been tested in the author’s practice in conflict mediation processes. The book presents the CMM as a scientifically based mediation model based on constructivism, which combines the already known and described mediation models such as restorative, transformative, narrative, provocative and facilitative justice and forms a kind of “meta” model of mediation, which explains the phenomenon of conflict emergence and resolution in the mediation process, with the participation of a professional mediator. The book is intended to be used as a teaching tool for learning the content of various professional education study courses. It also contains 18 questionnaires created by the author, which are a valuable practical aid for teaching staff, practicing psychologists and mediators.
