A guest lecture within the ERASMUS+ international exchange programme, which was delivered by associate professor of the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre from Portugal Maria Isabel Borges, aroused great interest among students and lecturers of our Baltic International Academy.
The topic of the lecture, which was called by its author “Sampling and data analysis in business sciences”, was very interesting to the audience. The presentation of the material was also excellent.
The guest lecture was also positively assessed by assistant professor of the BIA, director of the study programme “Financial Management” Zhanna Chernoshtan, who acquainted the professor from Portugal with our Academy. She noted that the use of statistical methods is useful not only in scientific research, but also in practice, for example, in audit companies.
