The exhibition of printed graphics, which was organised by the BiArt student gallery under the guidance of Valentin Danilenko, a member of the Union of Artists of Latvia, aroused great interest among students, lecturers and guests of our Baltic International Academy. And it is easy to understand. The exhibition presents works by Gunars Krolis, Joseph Elgurt, Arthur Nikitin and other famous masters of fine art, who are also known outside Latvia.
And the printed graphics itself deserves special respect, the curator of the exhibition Valentin Danilenko noted when opening it. In his opinion, this is a top class for any artist, and anyone who has acquired printed graphics has the right to consider himself a master.
The young talented artist Maria Matveyeva agrees with him and considers her participation in the exhibition as an important step towards learning the creative secrets of printed graphics.
The exhibition is located in the BIA building at 1/4 Lomonosova Street and will last until the middle of December. Admission is free during the working hours of the academy.
