High evaluation for BIArt student gallery

The student gallery BIArt of our Baltic International Academy is well known not only in Latvia, but also in many other countries of the world. Among them is also the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It is not difficult to understand. At our academy, on the initiative of the student gallery and its curator, member of the Union of Artists of Latvia Valentin Danilenko, two special classrooms were opened, where 58 original works of artists from Kazakhstan are exhibited, an art album of reproductions of paintings “Latvia-Kazakhstan” was published. And in June of this year, a personal exhibition of paintings by Valentin Danilenko was held with great success at the Karaganda Museum of Fine Arts. Works of artists from Kazakhstan are often exhibited at exhibitions held at the BIA.

A new recognition of the merits of the BIArt student gallery in the development of cultural ties between Latvia and Kazakhstan was the visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov. He got acquainted with the exhibition of works by artists from Kazakhstan and noted that he was pleased with such a respectful attitude of the Baltic International Academy and the student gallery to the culture and art of Kazakhstan.

The curator of the gallery Valentin Danilenko thanked the guest for his high evaluation of the activity of the BIArt student gallery and assured him that work on developing friendly relations between artists from Latvia and Kazakhstan will continue.
