Due to objective reasons, last year the students of the study field “Social Welfare” of our Baltic International Academy prepared and defended their bachelor and master theses at the European Christian Academy. However, they decided to hold their graduation party at our Academy, which they rightly consider to be their true Alma mater. This initiative was supported by the members of the board and the Student Parliament of our Academy, and last week the BIA hosted a graduation party for those who had previously completed the required course of study at our academy.
The festive ceremony was opened by Agrita Lujane, who was the head of the study field “Social Welfare” during the study years of graduates at the BIA. When welcoming the new specialists in the field of social work, she noted with satisfaction that all students of her study field successfully defended their theses at the European Christian Academy. This is convincing evidence of the high level of their professional training at the BIA.
Vice-Rector for Science of the BIA, Professor Vladislav Volkov addressed the heroes of the occasion with kind words of farewell. He wished them to creatively apply in practice the knowledge obtained at the Baltic International Academy and noted that they have the opportunity to continue cooperation with scientists of the BIA in the future, to participate in scientific conferences and seminars held by our academy.
In their speeches, the certified masters and bachelors warmly thanked the Baltic International Academy and its teaching staff for the opportunity to acquire a modern, in-demand profession. They noted that this was largely due to the respectful and friendly attitude towards students at our academy. Member of the Board of the BIA Student Parliament Erik Savinov cordially congratulated the former students of our academy on completing their studies and wished them not to forget their friends and lecturers from Alma mater.
