On March 20, in accordance with the Constitution (Satversme) of the Baltic International Academy, the meeting of the Constitutional Assembly was held. Organisational issues were considered at it and the results of the competition for the position of Rector of the BIA were summed up.
Inta Buka, Vice-Rector for International Relations, was unanimously elected as the Chairperson of the Constitutional Assembly, and Svetlana Smane, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, was elected as the Vice-Chairperson. Lecturer Ksenija Doronina was elected as a Secretary of the Constitutional Assembly of the BIA.
