This is the title of Galina Golubchikova’s solo exhibition, which was organised within the walls of our Baltic International Academy by the BIArt gallery. And really, her bright paintings remind us that even in difficult times our life is beautiful and amazing. Even the souls of skeptics are warmed by the bright views of Latgale and Riga, Norway and Morocco, Belgium and Japan in her paintings. And all of them are not just a product of the artist’s imagination, but a personal reflection of her observations and memories.
As the curator of the BIArt gallery, member of the Union of Artists of Latvia Valentin Danilenko noted when opening the exhibition, Galina Golubchikova has her own special style, her own optimistic view of the world around her. The soul of the artist is clearly visible behind each of her works. It is felt that while creating her paintings, she enjoys the creative process itself. And such works bring joy to viewers.
The exhibition was also highly evaluated by the well-known Latvian artist Nugzar Paksadze, whom Golubchikova considers one of her teachers. He congratulated her on the opening of the exhibition and wished her new creative successes and discoveries.
In her response, Galina Golubchikova cordially thanked the Baltic International Academy and the BIArt gallery for the opportunity to demonstrate her works to students, lecturers and guests of the BIA and expressed hope that the audience will enjoy the exhibition.
The exhibition is located in the educational building of the Baltic International Academy at 4 Valerijas Seiles Street and will last until May 30. Admission is free during working hours of the BIA.
