Guest lecture in Tbilisi

Exchange of guest lectures by teaching staff within the framework of the international ERASMUS+ programme has become a common practice for our Baltic International Academy. The BIA has already concluded more than 150 cooperation agreements with foreign higher education institutions. Foreign specialists are always welcome guests at our academy. The demand for BIA lecturers is also growing. In the current academic year alone, they have delivered guest lectures at higher education institutions in Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Croatia. And in April, the Caucasus International University in Tbilisi joined them.

A guest lecture in English on the prospects for using digital currencies in transactions was delivered by Associate Professor of our Academy Jurijs Baltgailis. As he noted, students of the Caucasus International University showed particular interest in using cryptocurrencies in the countries of the European Union.

As part of this visit, a meeting of the guest with the heads of the Caucasus International University was held, which was attended by the rector of the university Kakhaber Korzaia, the dean of the faculty of business and technology Ketevan Nanobashvili, the head of the department of international relations Svetlana Kirakosyan. There was a detailed conversation about the prospects for the development of educational and scientific relations between the Caucasus International University and the Baltic International Academy.

A representative of our academy invited scientists of the Caucasus International University to take part in the XV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Time of Challenges and Opportunities: Challenges, Solutions, Perspectives”, which will be held at the BIA on May 16-17.
