On May 16-17, the XV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Time of Challenges and Opportunities: Challenges, Solutions, Perspectives” was held at the Baltic International Academy. The conference was organised by the Baltic International Academy, College of Accountancy and Finance (Latvia), Daugavpils University, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine), Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, University of Siedlce (Poland), Šiauliai State College (Lithuania), Portalegre Polytechnic University (Portugal).
More than eighty scientists representing higher education institutions of Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Poland, Portugal, the USA, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan took part in the conference.
As the Rector of the Baltic International Academy, Associate Professor Vladislav Volkov noted when opening the conference, the reports and presentations of scientists from different countries reflect a wide range of opinions on the most topical issues of our time. And the creative combination of scientific potentials will undoubtedly speed up their solution.

Alexey Aleksandrov, Doctor of economics, Professor, MIM – Kyiv Business School (Ukraine);
Marta Sara Stempień, Ph.D. in security sciences, Assistant Professor, Institute of Security Studies, University of Siedlce (Poland).
The conference participants’ reports were presented in person and online in the following sections: Modern Social Psychology: Theory and Practice; Contemporary Entrepreneurship, Management and Innovation, Economics, Finance and Accounting; Tourism and Recreation Organisation; The European Union and European values; Topical Problems of Legal Science.
The reports in electronic form will be published in the Conference Proceedings, which will be available on the BIA website in the section “Science”.
