XIV International Research-to-Practice Conference “Society Transformations in Social and Human Sciences”

On December 12-13, the XIV International Research-to-Practice “Society Transformations in Social and Human Sciences” was held at our Baltic International Academy.

It was organised by: Baltic International Academy (Latvia), Daugavpils University (Latvia), College of Accounting and Finance (Latvia), Urgench State University (Uzbekistan), V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine), Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (Ukraine), Research Centre of Industrial Problems of Development of NAS of Ukraine, Panevezys University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (Ukraine), University of Siedlce (Poland), University of Oradea (Rumania), Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine), Lithuanian Sports University (Lithuania).

More than ninety scientific reports and presentations were prepared for discussion within the framework of the conference. They were presented in person and online by scientists from nine countries.

As Vladislav Volkov, Rector of the Baltic International Academy and Associate Professor, noted when opening the conference, the reports and presentations of scientists from different countries reflected a wide range of opinions on the most topical issues of our time.

The conference opened with a presentation of the latest issue of the scientific journal “Baltic Journal of Legal and Social Sciences”, which is prepared and published in English by our Baltic International Academy. It was presented by the editor of the special issue devoted to financial analysis, Dr.oec. Alexey Aleksandrov, Visiting Professor of the Baltic International Academy.

At the plenary session of the conference, informative reports were presented by Mirzobek Avezov, Associate Professor of Urgench State University (Uzbekistan), Oleksandr Sharov, Professor of the Institute for Economics and Forecasting (Ukraine), Edina Lilla Mészáros, PhD, University of Oradea (Romania), Alexey Aleksandrov, Visiting Professor of the Baltic International Academy, Innola Novykova, Professor of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (Ukraine), and Anatoliy Lytvynenko, Researcher of the Baltic International Academy.

Reports and presentations were also delivered and discussed in the following sections: Contemporary Management, Business and Innovation; Finance and Economics for Sustainable Future. Tourism and Recreation Organisation. Topical Issues of Psychology: Theory and Practice. Geopolitical and Humanitarian Aspects of European Security; Legal Science.

The conference proceedings will be published in the Academy’s Collection of Scientific Papers in electronic format on the BIA website under the “Science” section.
