Following a good tradition, graduation ceremonies at our Baltic International Academy are held also in winter. This year, the winter graduation ceremony, organised by the BIA Student Parliament, took place on February 7. This day will long remain in the memory of Austris Andrukels from Latvia, Pranab Saha from India, Boris Mbua Elimbi from Cameroon and other BIA graduates of 2026. In their honour, the National Anthem of Latvia played in the assembly hall, and bouquets of flowers, heartfelt congratulations and parting words warmed the hearts of the new bachelors and masters.
To warm applause, rector of the Baltic International Academy Vladislav Volkov and the heads of study programmes and study fields Mihail Kopeikin, Julija Mahmudova, Ksenija Doronina and Svetlana Polovko-Valtere warmly congratulated the new bachelors and masters on the successful completion of their studies and wished them to proudly uphold the title of graduates of Baltic International Academy.
The graduates’ words of thanks were also warm. Master Farrukh Mirakhmedov and Bachelor Marija Muzika expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the teaching staff and emphasised that the academy not only gave them in-demand professions but also inspired in them a desire for self-improvement. They expressed confidence that the knowledge the graduates acquired at the Baltic International Academy is a reliable foundation for their successful professional growth.
The ceremony concluded with the traditional student anthem “Gaudeamus,” beautifully complemented by the traditional salute with the bachelor’s and master’s caps.
