Useful student exchange

The European Union’s international student and academic staff exchange programme ERASMUS+ has gained popularity and recognition at our Baltic International Academy. Through it, dozens of BIA students enhance their knowledge at leading European universities, while representatives of foreign universities undertake study courses at our academy.

Thus, last year, 36 BIA students expanded their knowledge at universities in Portugal, Italy, Poland, Lithuania and Estonia. Meanwhile, 32 students from universities in France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Turkey and other countries also expanded their knowledge at our academy.

At the beginning of this year, students Kateryna Don and Polina Haiduk, both from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, with which our academy has long-standing friendly ties, joined them. Future Master Kateryna Don spent a semester expanding her knowledge in the Master’s programme “Business Management and Administration,” the head of which is Ksenija Doronina. Future Bachelor Polina Haiduk studied this semester in the Bachelor's programme “Entrepreneurship Management,” the head of which is Julija Mahmudova.

The Ukrainian students believe that studying at the Baltic International Academy was very beneficial for their professional development. From their own experience, reputable specialists teach at the BIA, they are knowledgeable in their subjects and proficient in English. It was also important, as they noted, that during their studies they had the opportunity to explore the sights of Riga and Jurmala, as well as the history and culture of Latvia.
