The Grand Assembly Hall of the Baltic International Academy was filled to capacity. Graduates of the accredited bachelor’s and master’s study programmes gathered in traditional graduation gowns for their festive graduation ceremony, which was organised by the BIA Student Parliament. The graduates represented the following programmes: “European Economics and Business”, “Entrepreneurship Management”, “Tourism and Hospitality Management”, “Finance”, “Digital Visualization Design”, “Business Management and Administration”, “Enterprise Management in the Leisure and Entertainment Industry”.
Their lecturers, friends and parents came to this exciting celebration. The celebration began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Latvia. The hall was filled with a sea of bright summer flowers, music played and heartfelt congratulations were heard.
Associate Professor and Rector of the Baltic International Academy Vladislav Volkov addressed the graduates of 2026 with kind words of congratulations. He warmly congratulated the graduates on successfully completing their studies and encouraged them not to stop at what they had achieved, but to continue developing their professional expertise, contribute through their creative work to the good reputation of the Baltic International Academy and to participate in the scientific and practical conferences of the BIA.
The Rector, together with the heads of the study programmes Svetlana Polovko-Valtere, Julia Mahmudova and Ksenia Doronina, presented the graduates with their well-deserved European-standard diplomas from the Baltic International Academy. Each graduate received kind words of congratulations.
The graduates, in turn, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Baltic International Academy, their lecturers, their parents for helping them acquire modern, in-demand professions and inspiring their interest in science and personal development.
Their speeches were complemented by the announcement of the results of the graduate survey for the title of “Best BIA Lecturer of 2026.” The winners in various categories were Vyacheslav Zhilinsky, Zhanna Tsaurkubule, Inese Ratanova, Marina Gunare, Julia Rastorgujeva, Ekaterina Voznuk, Alla Iljina, Aija Liskupa and Nadezhda Pazuhina. A special diploma from the Student Parliament was presented to the Rector’s Assistant Maria Tkachukova for her active support of the graduates.
The celebration concluded with the traditional student anthem “Gaudeamus,” followed by the traditional cap toss of the new bachelors and masters.
