Traditionally, the admission process for international applicants at the Baltic International Academy begins much earlier than for graduates of Latvian secondary schools, as the preparation and processing of admission documents for foreign applicants is more complex and time-consuming.
By July 1st, nearly 300 applicants from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, India, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cameroon, Pakistan, and other countries had submitted applications to study at the Academy. This is twice as many as during the same period last year, demonstrating the growing popularity of the Baltic International Academy among international students.
On July 8th, another important stage of the Academy's admission campaign began. The BIA Admissions Committee started accepting applications in person for the 2026/2027 academic year from graduates of Latvian secondary schools who completed their studies this summer.
The Head of the Admissions Committee of the Baltic International Academy, Marina Lihušina, explains the key features and conditions of this summer’s admission campaign:
“Applicants from Latvia have an excellent opportunity to submit their documents in person and receive comprehensive consultation regarding the study programmes offered by the Academy. We provide a wide range of options.
The Baltic International Academy offers four accredited Bachelor's degree programmes: Entrepreneurship Management, European Economics and Business, Finance, and Tourism and Hospitality Management.
In addition, we offer three accredited Master's degree programmes: Business Management and Administration, International Finance and Economics, and Management of Enterprises in the Leisure and Entertainment Industry.
Studies are conducted in both Latvian and English. Applications may also be submitted online.
Tuition fees at BIA remain unchanged from the previous academic year. The exact fee depends on the chosen programme and payment schedule. Applicants who pay the full tuition fee for a semester or an academic year in advance are eligible for a discount.
