In the European Center of Baltic International Academy was held the presentation of the international poetic almanac "PAROVOZ". It contains the works of 90 poets from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, Finland and other countries next to the Baltic Sea.
Authors from Latvia are represented most widely on the pages of the almanac. This is the merit of the Baltic Writers Council, the headquarters of it is located in Riga. Yury Kasyanich – member of the board of the Baltic Writers Council and the Latvian Writers' Union, literary editor of the almanac congratulated the poets on the New year, wished them new creative successes and handed over a copy of the almanac to the BIA Central Scientific Library during the presentation.
Nikolay Gudanets, Irina Zinovchik, Yury Kasyanich, Nikolai Romanenko and other Latvian poets read their poems from the almanac. And the poet Evgenia Oshurkova performed a number of her compositions on a guitar.
