A press conference at the European Center of the academy dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Baltic International Academy received a wide response in the mass media. Well-known journalists, graduates of the BIA, took an active part in it: the TV-24 producer – Anita Daukshte, political commentator of the newspaper “Segonya” – Abik Elkin, correspondent of the magazine "Otkritiy gorod" – Anastasia Amalina, news editor of the radio LR-4 Ekaterina Borzaya, the radio LR-4 presenter – Yana Ermakova, the radio Baltkom journalist – Tatiana Kirillova.
The BIA board members Stanislav Buka and Valery Nikiforov noted that the academy has established good business relations with the Latvian journalists, since the journalism faculty was operating at our university, which was later replaced by a Public relations study program. Since then, many journalists have called BIA their alma mater.
The BIA leaders thanked the journalists for their attention to the academy, objective coverage of its activities and answered their questions. In conclusion, to the journalists were presented anniversary souvenirs from the Baltic International Academy.
