An interesting exhibition of portraits was organized at Baltic International Academy by the students’ gallery BiArt, according to the initiative of the curator Valentin Danilenko.
It presents 30 artistic photographic portraits, created in a classical manner. These are, graduate works of the GRIAL photo studio graduates - Elizaveta Baranova, Ivan Varshavsky, Denis Miroshin, Daria Stripkane. And interestingly, with all the variety of portraits, these four authors created them, and also were posing for many of them. While opening the exhibition, the famous artist Valentin Danilenko noted that these works convince that much can be achieved if one truly comprehends the skills diligently and patiently.
The head of the GRIAL photo studio, Grigory Aleksikov, agrees that it’s not possible to become a photo master in a month. It requires not only talent, but also hard work and perseverance.
The exhibition is taking place at BIA (Lomonosova str. ¼), and is open from 11 to 5 pm. on working days until November 1st.
