According to the Janury tradition, when the anniversary of the famous poet, bard and artist Vladimir Vysotsky is celebrated, the days of his memory and glory are held in the International Museum, which bears his name. In 1974 and 1975, he performed at the RCAII club, where the assembly hall of the BIA is located now, and the bas-relief on the wall reminds of it. In 2010, his fans, with the support of the BIA owners, created the International Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky
This year, on January 25, the 85th anniversary of Vladimir Vysotsky, the creative association "Planeta Vysotskogo", which is permanently led by bard Olga Noginova, has prepared a number of interesting and educational events.
On January 14, the museum hosted a meeting with poets, writers, bards, at which they discussed about the famous poet, bard, and artist. On January 21, a competition for young narrators “Chitaem Vysotskogo” was held, in which students from Riga schools took part. And on January 25, the Museum hosted an Open Doors Day, during which Olga Noginova told visitors about her meetings with Vladimir Vysotsky and Marina Vlady and introduced them to the museum's exposition.
