An amazing surprise for students, lecturers and guests of our Baltic International Academy was prepared by the curator of the BiArt student gallery, a member of the Latvian Union of Artists Valentin Danilenko. He organised a solo exhibition of paintings by the young artist Aisha Abduyeva, who is only 8 years old, and, in fact, discovered a new talent in the art world of Latvia.
- Aisha caught my attention with her work at the exhibition “The world of colour” last year, - he says. Valentin Danilenko looked at other works of the young talent, was impressed and chose 26 original paintings for this first solo exhibition “Smile and Joy”. In his opinion, Aisha is really talented in visual arts and has a good future.
Aisha's mother, well-known artist Maria Abduyeva, agrees with this opinion. She is especially pleased that her daughter has her own special view of the world and her own special manner of representing it.
