You are invited to attend a meeting with industry professionals dedicated to Professional Career and Business Development.
This meeting is a continuation of the meetings and workshop series organised by the BIA Career Centre and Student Parliament, with the active participation of the study directions “Economics,” “Management, Administration and Real Estate Management,” “Hotel and Restaurant Service, Tourism and Recreation Organisation,” and “Science of Law.”
During the meeting, students will have the opportunity to interact with industry representatives, ask questions about professional development, careers, entrepreneurship, and innovation, and discuss internship opportunities.

The invited speakers are:
ANASTASIJA MEDVEDEVA, co-founder of ACCREMETER, a MedTech startup, radiography student, and alumna of Baltic International Academy. She will share insights on how finance thinking helps in startups, how to test a business idea with limited resources, what finance knowledge is useful in startup development, and what lessons she has learned during her entrepreneurial journey.
ALEKSEJS IGNATJEVS, entrepreneur, founder of Smile Taxi, and President of LVTNDDO the Latvian Association of Taxi Transport Carriers and Employers. He will share practical insights from more than two decades of entrepreneurship, including business launches, crisis management, innovation, leadership, negotiations, technology adoption, customer service, marketing, and lessons learned from both successes and failures.
ALEXANDER BELSKIS, CEO of EMPYRIO, B2B entrepreneur, and founder of five industrial startups, with 20 years of experience in international industrial business. He will share his entrepreneurial journey and explain why now is one of the best times for students to step into Deep Tech entrepreneurship, build innovative solutions, and use Artificial Intelligence and Deep Tech to solve real physical-world challenges.
