Central Scientific Library of BIA invites students and lecturers to get acquainted with the new arrival: Dr.psych., Mg. sc.sal., Mg.sc.administer. Maija Zakriževska-Belogrudova's book “Stresa anatomija” ("Anatomy of Stress"), a gift from University of Business, Art and Technology RISEBA.
In today's time of unpredictable change, every person's work and private life has changed significantly, directly affecting mental and physical health. Stressors and symptoms are highly individualized, and long-term and chronic stress can have lasting consequences for health, ability to work and quality of life in general.
The monograph provides a concise overview of stress and offers many useful practical tips and exercises that can help individuals or organizations become aware of stressors, symptoms, and understanding of stress management options for psycho-emotional well-being at the micro and macro levels.
The book is recommended for managers, employees, new employees, students, university graduates who are starting their careers, and anyone interested in finding ideas and support for overcoming stress and looking for inspiration to improve their daily life balance.
In the autumn of 2020, the author of the book chaired the accreditation commission of BIA program “Psychology”, visited BIA Central Scientific Library and highly appreciated the library fund.
