By a long tradition, acceptance of documents at the BIA from foreign applicants begins much earlier than from Latvian graduates of this year, and they use this right actively. Until July 1, 150 applicants from Nigeria, Egypt, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Cameroon and other countries have submitted applications for admission to our academy. The Admission Committee was also visited by two dozen Latvian applicants who graduated from secondary school in previous years.
And from July 13, a new important stage in the work of the BIA Admission Committee will begin. It will accept documents for the 2023/2024 academic year from graduates who completed their studies this summer.
Marina Likhushina, Head of the admission committee of our Baltic International Academy, talks about the conditions and peculiarities of the summer intake:
– Applicants from our country have a good opportunity to apply in person and get a consultation on the programmes offered by our academy. And they have a wide choice – 22 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes in Latvian and English. Documents can also be submitted remotely.
Each programme has a lot of novelties that take into account the new trends. Thus, lawyers have such novation as mediation, translators – audio description, entrepreneurs – digital marketing, and financiers – digital analytics.
The tuition fee at the BIA has increased slightly compared to the previous academic year – it varies depending on the programme from Eur 875 to 1075 per semester.
More detailed information on admission requirements is available on the website of the academy bsa.edu.lv in the section “Admission”. Documents for admission can also be sent to the Admission Committee in a scanned form to the address:
