The guest lectures within the ERASMUS+ programme by Professor Joanna Omieciuch from the University of Siedlce, with which the BIA has long-standing mutually beneficial friendly ties, aroused great interest among students of the tourism programmes of our Baltic International Academy. And it is not difficult to understand that. The first lecture was devoted to the peculiarities of ecotourism in Poland, the second – to the educational role of culinary tourism.
The guest got acquainted with the peculiarities of the tourism study programmes of the BIA, the collections of the Central Scientific Library and the exhibition of the BiArt student gallery. The fact that our academy is accredited by the World Tourism Organization seemed very interesting to her.
The head of the tourism study direction, Professor Zhanna Tsaurkubule thanked Joanna Omieciuch for the interesting, informative lectures and noted that they will broaden the horizons of BIA students.
