Useful seminar for future psychologists

The practical seminar “Conflicts: what is it and how to deal with them?” received a lot of positive feedback from students and lecturers of the study programme “Psychology” of our Baltic International Academy. It was organised for future psychologists by the Psychological Counselling Centre, the head of which is certified psychologist, assistant professor of the BIA Vera Krievina.

As she explained, the aim of the seminar is to show students, using specific examples, methods for analysing and resolving various kinds of conflicts. In the opinion of the participants of the seminar, it met their expectations.

According to its participant, fourth year student of the programme “Psychology” Elena Salykina, the lectures undoubtedly give an idea of the types of conflicts and methods of resolving them, but you perceive them completely differently when you yourself analyse conflicts on specific examples and propose means of resolving them.
