The exhibition in memory of the famous artist Vladimir Kozin, who passed away in September at the age of 101, aroused great interest among students, lecturers and guests of our Baltic International Academy. It presents 45 works by his students, including many already famous artists, such as Lyubov Zikh, Marina Laptyeva, Natalya Savitskaya, Alevtina Stavrova, Olga Florinskaya and others.
All of them were collected in our student gallery BiArt by its strict curator, member of the Union of Artists of Latvia Valentin Danilenko. When opening the exhibition, he noted: This bright and cheerful exhibition glorifies not only you, but also your teacher. It convinces that master Vladimir Kozin taught you not only to see the beautiful, but also to depict it in your paintings. And it is safe to say that your works glorify not only you, but also your teacher.
The participants of the exhibition also agree with him, and Natalia Savitskaya noted with gratitude that Vladimir Kozin taught to work, appreciate and understand the beautiful and not to rest on their oars.
The exhibition is located in the educational building of the BIA at 4 Lomonosova Street and is available until the new year during working hours of the academy.
