The International Seminar of Higher Education Specialists at Ningbo Polytechnic University in the Chinese city Ningbo was met with interest in Latvia. It was organized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Commerce of China. Representatives from Nigeria, Tanzania, Lebanon and other countries took part in it.
With the assistance of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Latvia, a group of Latvian higher education specialists also took part in the seminar. Our Baltic International Academy was represented at the seminar by experienced lecturer Raimond Rublovskis.
During two weeks, the participants of the seminar got acquainted with the peculiarities of higher education in China and the experience of other countries. As Raimond Rublovskis noted after returning from China, he had a good opportunity to get acquainted with the trends in the development of higher education in the countries represented at the seminar and share his experience in organizing the studies of foreign students at the Baltic International Academy.
