Following a good tradition, graduation ceremonies at our Baltic International Academy are held both in summer and winter. The festive evening at the beginning of February 2024 will remain in the memory of BIA graduates for a long time. The national anthem of Latvia was played in their honour, bouquets of flowers, emotional congratulations and farewell speeches gladdened the hearts.
Accompanied by loud applause, they were awarded the long-awaited diplomas of the Baltic International Academy. Some became masters, others bachelors. And the first of them, doctoral student Edgars Shtals, was awarded the diploma of Doctor of Economics by Vice-Rector for Science Vladislav Volkov.
The head of the study direction “Law” Irina Gaft, lecturer Maruta Ozolinya, director of the study programme “Financial Management” Zhanna Chernoshtan, director of the study programme “European Economics and Business” Yulia Makhmudova addressed the heroes of the occasion with kind words of congratulations and farewell speeches. They presented diplomas to the graduates and wished them to increase the good reputation of the Baltic International Academy with good deeds.
The responses from the graduates were also warm. Thus, a graduate of the programme “Law” Marina Stankevicha emphasized that the academy gave her not only an in-demand profession, but also aroused her interest in self-improvement and continuing her studies at the BIA master’s programme.
At the end of the celebration, the student anthem “Gaudeamus” was played and the graduates saluted with their festive caps.
