A workshop dedicated to acquiring the methodology for creating startups, which was organized by our Baltic International Academy and the international platform for commercialization of science “Commercialization Reactor”, aroused great interest among BIA students from Latvia and abroad.
The event was opened by assistant professor of the BIA Inese Ratanova, who introduced students to the host of the event Arseny Sergeyev, co-founder and head of Deep-tech VERITACELL.
Arseny acquainted BIA students with the technology commercialization process, the stages of creating deep-tech startups, as well as venture financing opportunities and answered questions, thereby creating a creative and friendly atmosphere, which was highly appreciated by the students.
Muhammadjon Yuldosaliev, a master’s student of the programme “International Finance and Economics” of the BIA, noted that participation in the workshop convinced him that based on a constructive business idea, with a competent approach, it is always possible to create a promising startup.
The students of the following study directions participated in the workshop: “Management, administration and real estate management”, “Economics”, “Hotel and restaurant service, tourism and recreation organization”, as well as the director of the study programme “International Finance and Economics” Zhanna Chernoshtan and the director of the Psychological Counseling Centre Vera Krievina.
