An interesting and useful discussion on the topic “Neural networks of artificial intelligence and modeling of creative activity” was organised by the Psychological Counseling Centre of our Baltic International Academy. When opening it, the coordinator of this centre, assistant professor of the BIA Vera Krievina noted the growing interest of the academy’s lecturers in the peculiarities of artificial intelligence and its application in various fields.
The discussion began with an informative lecture on artificial intelligence, which was delivered by Vsevolod Kachan, Doctor of Philosophy, guest lecturer of the Baltic International Academy, researcher of the University of Latvia. He described the main stages in the development of artificial intelligence, the problems faced by its developers, and promising areas of application of AI.
Director of the master programme “International Finance and Economics”, assistant professor of the BIA Zhanna Chernoshtan, guest assistant professors Vyacheslav Zhilinsky, Pavel Tyurin and other participants of discussion noted that the lecture and its discussion expanded the understanding of the advantages and prospects for the use of artificial intelligence, including in the field of education.
