On May 10-11, the XIV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Time of Challenges and Opportunities: Challenges, Solutions, Perspectives” was held at the Baltic International Academy. It was organised and implemented by: Baltic International Academy, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, The Siedlce University (Poland), The College of Accounting and Finance (Latvia), Šiauliai State College (Lithuania), Department of Economics, University of Messina (Italy), LTJSS’s Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur (India).
More than a hundred scientists representing higher educational institutions in Latvia, UK, India, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Ukraine, France and South Africa took part in the conference.
As Vice-Rector for Science of the Baltic International Academy, Associate Professor Vladislav Volkov noted when opening the conference, the reports of scientists from different countries reflect a wide range of opinions on the most topical problems of our time. And the combination of scientific potentials will speed up their solution.

- Iryna Kvasnikova, Lecturer of Faculty of Tourism, Hotels & Restaurants Business at Lviv University Business and Law (Ukraine);
- Guru Prabhakar, PhD, Senior Lecturer, UWE-Bristol, (UK);
- Mateusz Kamionka, Dr of Social Science, Józef Gołuchowski University of Applied Sciences, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (Poland);
- Irina Popova, Dr.paed., Docent, Baltic International Academy (Latvia).
Reports of the conference participants were presented in person and online at the sections: Modern Social Psychology: Theory and Practice; Economics, Finance and Accounting; Contemporary Entrepreneurship, Management and Innovation; Tourism and Hospitality Business; European Union and European Values; Inclusion Solutions in Translation, Pedagogy and Social Work; Topical Problems of Legal Science.
Reports in electronic form will be published in the Conference Proceedings. It will be available on the BIA website under the section “Science”.
